David Thomas Matrisian

He was born in Peckville, PA on February 21st, 1943. David attended Central High in Newark, NJ. David Matrisian built a management career in the manufacturing industry where he led by example, working diligently to be a provider for his family. His work ethic and dedication were honed early in life while serving in the Army. One of David’s most admirable traits was his thirst for knowledge. He could speak intelligently on most topics, but he had a particular passion for paleontology, often sharing his collection of fossils with those who were interested. He also enjoyed an active and adventurous life spending time fishing, scuba diving, and playing racquetball with family and friends.

David is survived by Darlene Ragoonanan and husband Adesh Ragoonanan, Matthew Matrisian, Darren Ragoonanan, Kendall Lynn Matrisian, Jordan Mackenzie Matrisian, Phyllis Begyn, Lorraine Quale. David is predeceased by sisters Marie De Angelo, and Christine Woollen. Funeral arrangements will be held at 3:00pm, October 8th, 2022 at Meadowlawn Funeral Home.
