Deborah J. DeRosa, 58, of New Port Richey passed away at her residence on Wednesday, January 16, surrounded by her loving family. Born in Brooklyn, New York, Deborah met her husband, Vincent, 41 years ago and spent over 35 years in a marriage supported by the strong bond the two share. She and Vincent moved from Long Island to Florida with their three daughters on November 11, 1997. Deborah was a very industrious lady. She wasn't one to sit still, and instead spent her time cooking, cleaning, working hard as a retail manager for Marshalls, and being a truly devoted mother to her children. Catholic by faith, she was a member of Our Lady Queen of Peace church in New Port Richey.
Deborah is survived by her husband Vincent DeRosa; her daughters: Nicole Therese DeRosa, Domenica Marie Callegari, and Francesca Anne DeRosa; her sisters: Diane DiCerbo and Patricia Ann Matrone; and her grandchildren: Riley Callegari, Lilliana Nicole Callegari, and another little one on the way.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations are made in Deborah's name to the Pancreatic Cancer Action Network (http://www.pancan.org/section_donate/donate_now.php) or to her girl's Relay for Life team (https://mail.svccorp.com/owa/redir.aspx?C=8nnmecHR1Uup7W0qXu7GX3VD4AELzc8IqPv5Nk505eopPpnQSfOG2-YG4KhR_nsuFeI66uJyQyo.&URL=http%3a%2f%2fmain.acsevents.org%2fgoto%2fDsDreamTeam.)
A celebration of Deborah's life will be held on Sunday, January 20. From 11am to 1pm are fellowship hours for family and friends to visit with each other. At 1pm there will be a memorial service led by Deacon Roger Lind of Our Lady Queen of Peace church.
