And this here is what it’s all about.
Whether you’ve ever been lost down a road, or flying in high in life with success. No matter the challenge or triumph. The key to it all is family.
We all came together to say goodbye ( a tremendously hard and heartbreaking farewell) to the patriarch of the Azem family.
We cried, laughed , hugged and didn’t want to say goodbye.
I think I can speak for all of us that without each other this wouldn’t have been the same farewell.
God bless my entire family both immediate and extended. It’s a true testament of how our bones were built out of the love that Daut and Rose laid the foundation.
Love everyone for all the support you all have know idea how much the outpouring support means to each of us.

When life throws you in a foreign country, with no parents or relatives around to guide or support you, God sends His angels to fulfill this. One of these was Uncle Daut (Xha Dauti) for me. His guidance and fatherly advice was God sent for a young immigrant like myself. I found the warmth and love of a family in his welcoming house. Uncle Daut (Xha Dauti) and Aunt Rose (Halla Rose) became truly loving parents at a moment that I needed the most. May his memory be eternal!
My prayers and condolences to his children and family.

Sympathy and prayers for all of the family and friends of Don. Memories of Ben’s Clubhouse, where the neighborhood gathered regularly, and summer evenings sharing wine and cheese in our yards. These treasured times will never be forgotten with both Don and Rose. I will open one last bottle and toast you my friend! Laurel Quinn

The Lott family sends prayers of comfort for the entire family. Mr. Azem was such a wonderful neighborhood historian for my girls. He willingly talked with my girls about his life adventures and all the experiences of growing up when he did. He had a warm, talkative personality and he will be missed.

The legacy of Daut Azem is the Beautiful, loving Family he and Rose nurtured and encouraged with great love and they received the same in return. Daut’s Life was an amazing journey and his story is “ The American dream”. Daut and Rose were the couple you hoped to be seated with at social functions. They leave us with Wonderful memories and a beautiful extended family. When I think of them , I smile.
