Donnell S. "Dinky" Persick, 48, of Port Richey, Florida, died April 28, 2010, at the Regional Medical Center at Bayonet Point in Hudson, Florida. She was born in Norfolk, Virginia, and moved to Florida in 1988. She was a former employee at the North Meadowlawn Funeral Home in New Port Richey, and was a member of the Methodist faith. She volunteered for the Salvation Army, and loved her diet Mountain Dew and orange Tic Tacs. She also loved Jazz music and cooking, and had a love for Tigger and Pooh. She was preceded in death by her brother Cameron Surface II. She is survived by her daughter Tiffany Lynn Persick of Ypsilanti, Michigan and her son Joseph Henry Persick III of Jacksonville, brothers Mark Surface of Green Coast Springs, Fl, Donald Lee Surface, Jr. of Orange Park, FL, sister Peggy Lynn Watson of Jacksonville, FL, brother Joseph Surface of North Carolina, grandson Emanuel Persick, and by many nieces and nephews.
