Edward Joseph Keating Jr.

Edward J Keating Jr of Bayonet Point FL born October 5th 1932 Keene, NH to Edward and Edna peacefully passed to our heavenly father on March 19th 2022. He is survived by his wife of 67 years Thora, sister Shirley Conway. Children Katherine and husband Robert Sunn, Paul and wife Brenda, Michael and wife Anne, Grandchildren Christian, Andria Kitchner, Emma and Hunter and three great grandchildren, Daughter in Law Terri, Son Edward III preceded his death also proceeding Ed were his sister Loraine Croteau, brothers James, Arthur, Richard, and William.

Ed served twenty years in the Air Force retiring to Keene, the Keatings ran a popular eatery the Red Roof Restaurant and Lounge at Dillan Hopkins Airport, Swanzey NH. Ed was an excellent chef and enjoyed making bread of all kinds, an avid coin collector, outdoorsman enjoying fishing and hunting. Retired life in Cape Carteret, NC was busy with service as a Knight of Columbus, Habitat for Humanity and Neighborhood Watch. Ed was a loving husband and father, a kindly neighbor always ready to do for others asking nothing in return. He is greatly missed.

Interment with Military Honors will be at Saint Josephs Cemetery Keene, NH on Saturday, August 6th
