

LAZZELL, FRANCES (Fran) D., 78, of Clearwater, formerly from Trinity, Fl., died Thursday (August 27, 2015). Born in Astoria, N.Y., came to Florida 39 years ago from Queens, N.Y. Fran was very devoted to her family and Catholic religion. She just enjoyed life and would light up the room with her laughter and smile. She also loved making clothes and purses. She was a sample dress seamstress in NYC and previous owner of TV Preview magazine for Pasco County. Survivors includes three daughters, Pierangela Gerke, husband Scott of Clearwater; Andrea Ferri, husband Rocco of Greenville, South Carolina; and Renee Long of New Port Richey; nine grandchildren, Theresa Thrasher, husband Mike of Palm Harbor; Scott Gerke of Key West; Gina Ferri of Tampa; Laura Hall, husband Josh of Clearwater; Christine Gerke of Orlando, Maria Ferri of Greenville, South Carolina; Emily Long of New York City; Eddie Long and Evan Long of New Port Richey; four great grandchildren, Quentin Thrasher, Brice Thrasher, Adam Thrasher and Wyatt Hall, two sisters, Norma Ulivo of Goodyear, Arizona and Angela Porter of Allen, Texas, one niece, Michelle DeBosier, Allen, Texas, one nephew, Marc DeBosier, Dallas, Texas. The world is a better place because of her and we will all miss her greatly.
