Frank A. Kownack, 86, passed away on August 12, 2011. Frank was born in Manhattan, New york and in 1971 he moved from Amsterdam, New York to Florida in 1971. His was married to his wife Minnie in Schenectady, New York in 1945; having 65 years wonderful years together. Frank and Minnie enjoyed going on cruises, dancing and traveling. He was a Jehovah Witness for 57 years and an elder at South Bayonet Point Congregation of Jehovah’s Witnesses. He was a WWII veteran serving from 1943 to 1945. Frank was passionate about teaching Industrial Arts to his students at Gulf High School in New Port Richey from 1972 to 1990. He received his Doctorate in Naturopathy and Osteopathy.
He is survived by his wife, two sons, David (Leda) and Frank (Barbara) Kownack; grandchildren, Sabrinia, Frankie and Rickey; and a brother Donald (Sue) Kownack.
A service will be held September 3, 2011 at 3:30pm at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses, 11535 Pine Forest Drive, New Port Richey, FL 34654.
