Frank was born in New York City on November 24, 1928. He lived a life marked by hard work, devotion to his family, and a genuine appreciation for the simple joys of life.
On April 11, 1953, Frank married the love of his life, Florence Mercurio. Together they shared more than seven decades of love, partnership, and cherished memories.
Frank built a successful career as a District Manager for Bunker Ramo and later retired from ADP. He was respected by colleagues for his dedication, professionalism, and strong work ethic.
Outside of work, Frank enjoyed spending time golfing, bowling, visiting VFWs, and trying his luck at the casinos. He valued time with family and friends and created lasting memories through his warmth, humor, and generous spirit.
Frank is survived by his loving children, Joseph Mercurio, Robert Mercurio, Stephanie Candelaria, Gina Mercurio (daughter-in-law); and Edwin Candelaria (son-in-law); his grandchildren, Edwin "JoJo" Candelaria, Iliana Candelaria, Shawn Mercurio, Christine Zapp, Nicholas and Dominic Picinich; and his great-grandchildren, Marley-Ann Mercurio, Matthew Dun, and Elysa Mercurio. He also leaves behind many extended family members and dear friends who will miss him greatly.
Frank will be remembered for his unwavering love for his family, his dedication to his work, and the kindness he shared with everyone fortunate enough to know him. His legacy of love, strength, and integrity will live on in the hearts of all who knew him.

A visitation will be held at Meadowlawn Funeral Home and Memorial Gardens, 4244 Madison Street, New Port Richey, FL 34652, US, on September 10, 2026, from 9:00 am to 10:00 am.
A Funeral Mass will take place at St. Thomas Aquinas Catholic Church, 8320 Old County Rd 54, New Port Richey, FL 34653, US, on September 10, 2026, from 10:30 am to 11:30 am.
A graveside service will follow at Trinity Memorial Gardens & Funeral Home, 12609 Memorial Dr, Trinity, FL 34655, US, on September 10, 2026, from 12:00 pm to 12:30 pm.
