

Franklin Delano Hill, age 85, of New Port Richey, Florida passed away on Thursday, March 5, 2020. Franklin was born May 5, 1934 in Clintwood, Virginia to Woodrow Wilson and Thelma Kendrick Hill. Frank was a US Army veteran from June 26, 1951 to May 25, 1954 who served during the Korean War. He followed Jesus and was a retired pipefitter. Frank was a member of the American Legion, VFW Post 141, VFW Post 3671 and many more.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Mabel Smith; son, Francis Hill; and brothers, Bob Hill, Lowell Hill, Jack Hill and Kenneth Hill. He is survived by his daughter, Brenda Hill; grandchildren, Shawn Hill, Jeannette LaMacchia, Dustin Hill, Ryan Hill, Troy Hill, Austin LeBlanc; sisters, Betty Oxley, Barbara Stump, Janice Barton and Helen Thode; and nine great grandchildren.
A visitation for Franklin will be held Thursday, March 12, 2020 from 9:30 AM to 11:00 AM at Holiday Community Fellowship Church, 5144 Sunray Drive, Holiday, FL 34690. A funeral service will begin at 11:00 AM. A committal service with military honors will occur Thursday, March 12, 2020 from 2:00 PM to 2:30 PM at Florida National Cemetery, 6502 SW 102nd Avenue, Bushnell, FL 33513.
