CROUCH, Gene Raymond of Port Charlotte, Florida passed away October 22, 2019. He was born on May 10, 1940 in St. Charles, Missouri to Raymond Henry and Ruth Witt Crouch. He grew up in Hawk Point, Missouri and attended the local schools. He owned and operated Crouch’s Service Station in Hawk Point, Missouri and was active in the volunteer fire department, until he moved to Florida. There he worked for the State of Florida. After his retirement he enjoyed antiquing and auctioneering.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Ruth and Raymond Crouch, and his wife Shirley Surls Moran Crouch, and grandson Michael Anthony Guastella. He is survived by his children, Kathy (Jim) Price of Troy; Lorri (Mike) Beedy of Florida; and Michael (Karen) Crouch of Troy; his stepchildren, Debbie and Kathy Moran of Florida; Marvin Lawrence (Pat) Moran Jr. of California: and grandchildren Lauren (Matt) McCrory, Mason (Megan) Price, Caitlin and Mallory Price, Danielle and Stephanie Guastella, and Lane and Tess Crouch, and great grandsons Leo, Seamus and Whitman McCrory; and other relatives and friends.
Visitation will be held November 13, 2019 from 10 am to 12 pm at Kemper-Millard-Kein in Hawk Point, Missouri with a service at 12 pm. Inurnment will follow at Hawk Point Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, expressions of sympathy can be made to the Hawk Point Cemetery or the Hawk Point Athletic Association.
