My crew and I had the distinct pleasure of getting to know Genny when we were hired to clean her home. Her zest for life and love of animals and nature was such a joy to us! She became our "poster girl"-we wanted to be just like her when we grew up! Genny you will be deeply missed but we will try to move forward with positivity and deep appreciation of the beautiful world around us. I know that you are dancing and surrounded by the animals and plant life that you so dearly loved! Thank you for for brightening our days!

Dear Genny,

When I had the true pleasure of meeting you as the first person that I met in the field, when I started with IRI 14 years ago. After meeting you, I thought if every person was like you , what a great place this was going to be. Then having the pleasure of getting to know you, over those years, my original thoughts were correct, that you were the Sweetest person, I have ever had the pleasure of knowing in my life.

I cannot say how much I enjoyed working with you, and enjoyed our conversations and how much those conversations will be missed.

As you dedicated yourself to IRI for 32 years. I have found through our conversation that you always put your passion to whatever you were doing, from working on the job, to your dancing stories at the festivals, feeding your birds by the river, etc.

You were always worrying about being there for someone else or taking care of someone else. Your loving kindness was like no one else I have ever seen, but that was just who you were.

You are already being missed, and I just wanted to say Thank you for being that Sweet, Loving, dedication person that you were, and wanted to say Thank you in behalf of IRI and the 32 years of your dedicated service, and myself.

We miss you !!!

My dear Genny,
We have known each other for over 30 years through IRI. 82 years is too young for you to leave us. I always enjoyed our lunches and conversations that we had. You were always contagiously happy, spirited, positive, energetic, and more. You will be missed my friend. Thank you for sharing your life with me.
Love you,
Francine FitzSimons ❤️

Genny was one of the best friends I've ever had. She was kindness itself, non-judgemental, and so vivacious that she lit up every room that she walked into. She lit up my life in so many ways that I can't begin to number them, and she always encouraged me to follow my dreams and always remember that age is a number, not a defining characteristic.
I love you Gen, and am missing you!!!
