George Papadopoulos

In loving memory of George Papadopoulos, age 56, of Tarpon Springs, Florida, passed away peacefully on March 25th of 2021 in the comfort of his home surrounded by those he loved. George was born in Katerini, Greece. Son of late Alexandros and Despina Papadopoulos.

George, along with his parents and brother, moved to the United States in 1974 in hopes to build a new future. George then grew up with his family in Upper Darby, PA, and graduated at the age of 16 in 1981. George was a beloved son, a loving father, brother, and husband. George enjoyed fishing, being surrounded by his closest friends and family, traveling to Greece, and enjoying what life had to offer.

George had a vibrant soul. His presence alone could light up a dark room. There was never a moment where George did not have a smile on his face. He brought joy to everyone he came across. He was a very family oriented man and had a very special bond with his brother, Harry. He had a long, ongoing battle with cancer. George has faced many hardships in life, but being the tough man he is- he never gave up. He always found light at the end of the tunnel.

He will be dearly missed by his entire family and friends. May his memory be forever eternal.
