Surrounded by her loving family, Gert passed away in her home on November 14, 2025. Born and raised in New Jersey, she moved to Hudson, Florida in 1980 after retiring from RCA in Harrison, NJ. She is survived by her children, Edward Wunder (NJ) and Janice Ramsey (FL); grandchildren Eric and Brian Wunder (NJ) and Cheryl Himmelreich (MD).
She was an avid bowler and continued to bowl on a league just shy of her 102nd birthday. She was also a diehard fan of the NY Mets & the TB Rays.
In lieu of flowers, please make a donation in her name to the Humane Society of Tampa Bay or Feeding Tampa Bay.
A funeral service will be held at Meadowlawn Funeral Home and Memorial Gardens, located at 4244 Madison Street, New Port Richey, FL, 34652, on November 19, 2025, from 10:00 am to 11:00 am.
Following the funeral service, a graveside service will take place at the same location from 11:00 am to 11:30 am.
