Gloria Audrey Murro

Gloria is survived by her loving daughters Gloria Murro of Quakertown, PA, Barbara Murro and Jim Miller of New Port Richey, FL, AnnMarie Giammanco of Monterey, CA, Diane Baker and Scott Baker of New Port Richey, FL, and Lucy Inneo of Edgewater, FL. 10 Grandchildren, Robin, Kimberly, Diane of PA, Mindy of NC, Jennifer of NJ, Vincent Giammanco of Ventura, Leonard Giammanco of Monterey, Brittany Baker of NPR,FL, Rocco Inneo, and Heather Baker of Parrish, FL. Her Great Grandchildren Floyd, Tyler, Shelby, Shyla, Taylor, Dylan, McKenzie, Gracelyn, Colton Zachary and her most recent Haylee Faye and countless others. Gloria's beloved fur baby Mia Lucia aka "Stonud".

Gloria is predeceased by her parents Charles Hager and Marie Hager. Her beloved husband of 65 years Leonard "Len" Murro, her beloved son Leonard Murro and her granddaughter Genevieve Gloria Giammanco, her sisters Shirley Strasser and Marie Coppenhager.

Gloria joined the Roller Derby in 1950 where she met the love of her life Leonard, "Lenny" Murro and married soon after in Long Island, NY in 1950.

Gloria went on to have 6 children that she raised in Morris Plains, NJ. Along with enjoying the Roller Derby, she also enjoyed cooking, sewing, bowling, jazzercize, tennis and riding roller coasters with her grandchildren.

Gloria was loved by all for her kind, fun and loving heart. She was always the life of the party, she enjoyed dancing and singing and could get a whole venue off of their feet and onto the dance floor.

Gloria was a member of Our Lady Queen of Peace Catholic Church in New Port Richey, FL.

Services for Gloria are private at the request of the family and will be held at Meadowlawn Funeral Home. In Lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to Gloria's Granddaughters scholarship foundation at www.gengiammancofoundation.org
