Fond memories from the family, "Family was the most important thing to my parents and my mom especially, just loved to be around people. Growing up we always had family gatherings at our house. More often than not, someone would bring a random friend to Sunday dinner. I always found it fun to watch my mom serve them several bowls of pasta before pulling out the second course, usually a plate of various meats to which the person would always look incredulous and ask everyone why we didn’t warn them that there was more coming. And of course, the guest had to eat more as there was no saying “no” to my mom. She was an awesome cook and her meatballs and chicken cutlets were the best in the world. She and my dad were members of the Italian American Club in Hudson until the 90s and were active in their clubhouse here. My mom participated in the many social clubs offered. She also loved to travel, dance, play mahjong and cards. Even in her late 80s and 90s she was full of energy. We traveled to Italy and Paris a couple of months before her 90th birthday and she walked all over Milan and Paris during our time there."
Gloria is survived by her three children: Gil Perrone (Liz), Diane Pearson (Rick) and Gloria Romeo (Tony) and one foster daughter, Edie Falterman. She is also survived by her grandchildren; Mathew Perrone (Rachel) , Justin Perrone, Christina Klare and Andrew Hindman, Kim Pearson and Eric Pearson, and most recently, a great-grandchild, Nico Blaze Perrone. She also left behind three sister-in-laws, numerous nieces, nephews, (grand and great-grand) and many friends as well. Gloria was preceded in death by her four brothers, their wives, four brother-in-laws and one sister-in-law. She will be missed by all.
