James was my big brother, we had some ups and some downs, but he was infamous for his no nonsense attitude in life. His heart was big and he was one in a million. He will be missed but I hope he is finally at peace. Luv you James

Without getting so sappy, James and his family took my family with no hesitation. He always reminded me when I was feeling down about life that everything was going to be okay and keep a smile on my face. Tigers eye James

James was a kind and welcoming man and so is his family. The love and comfort of being together as a family was always apparent whenever I saw you all. I look forward to seeing his beautiful family and to hear all the stories that will be told at his memorial. I will miss him but expect to see glimmers of him shining through his family in the years to come. I’m so sorry for your loss and pray for you all during this time of grief.

I remember the first time I met NewJack many moons again in Virginia. He welcomed me in his home like we were old friends. Thank you for being a great Dad to our combined family. You will be greatly missed by all of us! 💙

A princess tiara and a wand that you wore Christmas day. With a smile on your face the entire time.

James was like a second father to me, no hesitation to take my family or I in when we hit a rough patch. He fought with strength worth of praise by the Gods and loved his family and friends more than anything. He was a true, and loyal friend. And I have a heavy heart that this happened to a man of strong character and morals. But grievance is over and celbration of life begins.

The boys and I are throwing a BBQ for you old man, and don't worry, we'll keep the good times rolling.

My father was a loving man he showed everyone he meet kindness the first day he meet my friends he treated them like family. He show me many thing and tough me many more and help sculpted me to who i am today. Words will never explain how greatful and lucky i am to have had him as my dad. For now he waits for the rest of his big family to join him as he watch over us all. While he waits for us he will be reunited with my uncle scot (uncle spot) where he will sit down talk and probably play a long game of D&D till the other players join him. I love my father and he will always be in my heart and in the hearts of many others.
