Durso, James J., 63, of New Port Richey, FL passed away November 22, 2015. He was born in Poughkeepsie, NY, and moved to Kansas City, MO, in 1980. He met and married Jamie (Six) Durso on June 18, 1983. They have two children, Jeffrey (now married to Brittany) and Kacie (engaged to Ryan Smith). They moved to Florida in 1989. Life, and the activities of raising a family, ensued and in 2013 they were blessed with grandson Spencer. Jim was an artist in every sense of the word, but particularly a musician. He played guitar, keyboards, sax, drums…… And that was his passion. He loved to entertain. He had a great sense of humor and was always the life of the party. His presence will be greatly missed but felt in every song and every laugh. A memorial service will be held Friday, Dec. 18, 2015 at Meadowlawn Funeral Home. The family will receive guests beginning at 1:00; there will be a service at 2:00, with placement of ashes following.
