

Born on March 23, 1933, in the Bronx, New York, Jean lived a life defined by devotion, generosity, and an unwavering love for her family. A devoted wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother, she poured her heart into raising her ten children, creating a home filled with warmth, guidance, and steadfast support that shaped every generation that followed.
Jean’s commitment to others extended far beyond her own household. She spent many years giving back to her community as a Brownie leader, inspiring young girls with patience, strength, and sense of purpose. She also served as Head of the Copiague Community Bicentennial Committee, dedicating her time and energy to preserving local history and bringing neighbors together in celebration of their shared heritage.
A devoted bingo player, Jean also volunteered her time as a member of the Bingo Board at Regency Park Bingo in Port Richey, helping to create a lively and welcoming gathering place for friends and neighbors. Known throughout the community as “Beanie,” she was cherished for her warmth, humor, and friendly spirit.
Jean loved board games and card games and delighted in teaching and playing them with her children and grandchildren. Those moments—filled with laughter, friendly competition, and togetherness—became treasured family memories. She also enjoyed crocheting, creating blankets, gifts, and keepsakes that wrapped family and friends in the warmth of her hands and heart. A lover of classic movies, she found joy in the timeless stories and familiar faces that brought comfort and nostalgia throughout her life.
Jean was preceded in death by her beloved husband of 49 years, John Wall, and her son, Edward Wall, whose memories remained close to her heart throughout her life.
She is survived by her nine children: Susan Kristensen and son-in-law James, Thomas Wall, Robert Wall, Carol Sheets, Peter Wall, Theresa Ahart, Catherine Wall, Lorraine Wall, David Wall and daughter-in-law Tina. She is survived by her sister, Joyce Newman Hardy.
She is also survived by her thirteen grandchildren: Jarrod Kristensen (Stephanie), Tiffany Antonik (Danny), Ashley Doherty (Joe), C-Jay Wall, Kimberly Sheets, Nicole Sheets, Demitri Ahart, Dante Ahart, Aisha Gillette (Matthew), Brandon Sillen (Alicia), Taylor Wall, Gavin and Griffin Forte.
Jean was blessed with thirteen great-grandchildren: Zachary, Summer, Gabriella, Mason, Brieanna, Mackenzie, Gavin, Jackson-Cole, Valerie, Joey, Ava, Jake and Alexander.
She will be deeply missed and forever remembered.
