Jennifer was born in Tampa, August 2, 1985 and moved to New Port Richey a month later. She is survived by her parents Larry and Pat, and her brother Matthew. Jennifer spent a lot of time with her grandparents Norman & Virginia Pohlman. Grandpa died in 1997 and Jennifer was Grandma’s caregiver until she entered a nursing home. Jennifer’s paternal grandmother, Joan Zimdahl lives in the Chicago area along with Uncle Bob and Aunt Chris, cousins Michelle and Tessa and their families and cousin Denise and her family. Uncle Mike and Aunt Kristi and cousins Kristopher and Jonathan live in South Carolina.
Besides her biological family, Jennifer had a large extended family of friends. She has been best friends forever and roommates with Jessica and Renee Barnes and Ana Cabara and is godmother to Jessica’s girls JoJo and Emma and second mom to Ana’s children. Jessica’s mom Peggy Wood-Bryant was Jenn’s “other mother” and she was close with Jessica’s sister Jamie and her family.
Jennifer was a General Manager for Burger King and was loved by her co-workers. She was known for her generous heart and was always willing to do anything for her friends. She loved shopping for bargains which she learned from her mom. When she was younger she spent a lot of time with her dad going to the beach and singing songs while he played the guitar.
Jennifer was a lifelong confirmed member of Faith Lutheran Church in New Port Richey where she grew in her faith as a member of the Sunday School and Senior Youth Group. The number of friends and lives she’s touched are far too many to name, but they will always have their memories of Jennifer in their hearts.
Jennifer will be laid to rest with her grandparents at North/Meadowlawn at a future date.
