I will always remember the good times Jerry and we had many. Those memories will be cherished  RIP

Jerry you were the exception to the rule in many ways! McPiner I will always remember the garage conference table and the laughs we shared! Trips on the boat to 3 rooker, fantastic dinners, 24 trips to Longboat and St. Pete Beach. We were the 6 musketeers! We’re down to 3 now. We will miss you! Due to the hurricane and resulting damage to cricketer restaurant, the memorial for Jerry planned for this Saturday has been moved to next Saturday, November 5 at 2 until 6 PM.

Jerry was a great person and he always had a smile on his face. Jerry never gave up and we would sit and talk about the Coast Guard. We would sit in his driveway with a fire pit roaring and discuss the world according to Jerry. I think of him each day and will truly miss his laughter and of course his trademark the Mustache. Now Jerry is peacefully in the hands of God. My he Rest in Peace!

Jerry was one of the 23 grandchildren of Pharoah David Piner Sr. and Annie Mae Matthews. One of the family's favorite reasons to gather together was an oyster roast, and there were plenty of them. Jerry's cousins in Wilmington are heartbroken with his passing. He will be missed by all of us.
