She was born in Morgantown, West Virginia on February 16th, 1927. She received a high school diploma.
She was married to Dominic B. Elia on July 8th, 1950.
Joann had a career in sales and retail for Maas Brothers, Budines and Bealles.
She had a passion for drawings, puzzle books, movies, and music.
She is preceded in death by her husband Domenic, her son Robert and her sister Phyllis Heasley Minor.
She is survived by her daughter Diane Elia of New Port Richey, her nieces Jean Ann Dyer of Maine, and Donna Cunce of New York, her nephew David Saalfield of New York, her cousin Flossie Greig of Massachusetts and numerous friends.
A funeral service for Joann will be held Friday, October 27, 2023 from 3:00 PM to 6:00 PM at Meadowlawn Funeral Home and Memorial Gardens, 4244 Madison Street, New Port Richey, FL 34652.
