Joanne P Hansen

Joanne Patricia Hansen, age 84, of New Port Richey, Florida passed away on Wednesday, November 10, 2021. Joanne was born October 4, 1937 in Quincy, MA to Sid and Laura Finch. She was a graduate of Abington High School in 1955 then went on to graduate from Chandler School for Women in 1956. Joanne married George H. Hansen in St. Bridgett's Church in Abington, MA on May 5, 1958. They had 3 children, Cheryl, Bruce and Jeff. She loved camping, cruises, music, scrapbooking, and making beautiful handmade cards which were loved by all. Joanne volunteered at Ruth Eckerd Hall and was a head usher and later worked the mailroom. She also volunteered at Trinity Hospital. She played Bunco for over 20 years and was a Red Hatter. The best memories are our camping trips on Thanksgiving and family gathering at her home. She was a loving mother, grandmother, aunt and friend. She survived her husband George Hansen and sons Bruce and Jeff Hansen. Joanne is survived by her Daughter Cheryl Spradling. Her grandchildren Jessica Caldwell, Kayla Spradling, Phoenix Hansen, Steven Koistra, Brooke Hansen and 10 Great Grandchildren. Son-in-law Wendell Spradling and Daughter-in-law Dottie Koistra Hansen. Joanne wanted a memorial at her home on 1616 Windemere Ct. NPR. It will be help November 28 at 2pm.
