Joanne W. Tucker

Joanne was born February 6th, 1937 in Harvey, Illinois to the late Joe and Nellie Wallis.

She was married to the love of her life Wilbur C. Tucker on August 3rd 1957 at St Agnes Church in Chicago Heights, Illinois.

Joanne graduated from Northern Illinois University, Class of 1966. She went on to build a lifelong career in education, where she dedicated herself to teaching and inspired countless young minds.

She had a deep appreciation for the arts, especially enjoying dance, orchestral performances, and musicals.

She treasured her grandchildren above all else, finding great joy in their visits and endless pride in their accomplishments.

She is survived by children Kevin Tucker and his wife Nancy, Penny Saric, and Jonathon Tucker; grandchildren Steven & Lauren Saric, Lindsey McDermott, Hailey Good, Brant Tucker, and Kendall Tucker.

A Visitation for Joanne will be held Saturday, May 9th, 2026 from 12:00PM to 1:00 PM and Funeral Service from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at Meadowlawn Funeral Home 4244 Madison Street, New Port Richey, FL 34652.
