Kenny knew me as Frances Neil.  He lived in the building next to mine in Elmhurst.  He was 13 and I was 14; we were great pals until I moved to another country when I was 17.  Kenny was sort of my sidekick; we did some really funny, stupid things together, like pretending to be shopping for baby clothes in Klein's Dept. store in Union Square.  We had the same piano teacher, Miss Kiss.  Really.  I knew his mom, whom he called "Hon," and his dad, Romeo.  I named my pet canary Romeo.   Kenny made me laugh all the time.  I can't relate the funniest prank he played on me because I might get censored.  But believe me, I'm still laughing about it to this day.  We lost touch and never renewed our crazy friendship, even when I came back to the US.   But I often thought of him.  In fact, I carried a photo around  of him for at least a decade or more in my wallet until someone stole  my purse.  I only just now  (August 20, 2019)  found out about his demise and I am very sad.   I mean devastated.  

Kenny, I never forgot you, my friend, and I never will.   You seem to have led a very full , happy life, which brings me great comfort.   You will always have a place in my memory bank and in my heart.  And funny bone.

My name  is Bob McKeon. I have been friends with Kenny for almost 60 years. We meet in Elmhurst
 New York in the 1960's. When I ask our old friends ,"back in the day", what they remember about Kenny, They say his 1955 Ford  Black and Yellow convertible. I too remember his car but I also remember a good friend,. a devoted husband to Diane and a dedicated father to Greg.  As the miles separated us , we talked on the phone. Months would go by
and we would pick up where the last conversation had ended. I will miss our phone conversations with Kenny but I will miss my friend more.   RIP  KENNY





Hi my name is Katie Darcy  my uncle Kenny was a good man and her was very friendly and funny he would alway  crack some joke and  he will be missed and love I love u so much uncle Kenny I will miss u   We will all remember the good time with had with him  I will miss his jokes  and his laugh I will miss talk to him and jokeing around with him

What a generous and funny man your father & husband was. I will never forget all the funny stories he shared and how he had us all sitting in his Scion XB after he just bought it so he could show us how all decked out it was with lights! He always had us laughing.  Oh and what a good taste in wine he had!  Ken is truly an incredible soul, full of strength, love, and so much more. My heart aches for you and your mom during this time. Just know you both are in our thoughts and our prayers.
