Laura L Maltese

Laura was born in Long Island, New York, on July 5, 1968. She graduated from Hudson High School and spent her career as a hairdresser at Hotheads, where she brought her creativity and warmth to those around her.

Laura shared her life with her beloved partner, Mitch Kohn. She found great joy in caring for and spending time with her grandchildren, who were a very special part of her life.

Laura is survived by her daughter, Kayla Maltese; her grandchildren, Elizabeth Zatarain, Joshua Zatarain, and Brooklynn Zatarain; and her brothers, Al (Tracey) Klyap, Mike (Erica) Klyap, as well as many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her brother, Wayne Klyap and her parents.

Laura will be remembered for her loving heart, devotion to her family, and the special care she gave to her grandchildren. Her memory will live on in the hearts of everyone who knew and loved her.

Funeral arrangements will be held at a later time, with details to be determined.
