

Les graduated from Arthur Hill High School and went on to earn an associate degree from Michigan State University.
On November 25, 1995, he married the love of his life, Lorie Obenreder, beginning a beautiful chapter filled with faith, family, and shared memories.
Les enjoyed a long and fulfilling career in radio broadcasting. His rich voice and warm personality could be heard on stations including WSGW, WGUL, WDUV (known as “The Dove”), and WTBN. He had a true passion for radio and cherished the connections he made with listeners and colleagues throughout the years.
A devoted member of First Baptist Church of New Port Richey, Les lived out his faith daily. He also had a deep love for golf and was an avid golfer, finding joy and fellowship on the course whenever he could.
Les is survived by his beloved children: Lisa Fox, John Thomas, Jennifer Hilimire, David Goff, and Robert Goff; his cherished grandchildren: Alexis Pormilli, Brayden Thomas, Cayden Lario, Ty Robertson, and Zackery Yezbick; his brothers Denny, Paul, and Jim Foerster; and his great-grandsons Bentley and Cohen Pormilli and CJ Stamper.
He will be remembered for his steady faith, his familiar voice on the airwaves, his love of family, and the kindness he showed to all who knew him.
A visitation will be held on March 7, 2026, from 1:00 pm to 2:00 pm at Meadowlawn Funeral Home and Memorial Gardens, located at 4244 Madison Street, New Port Richey, FL 34652.
The funeral service will follow on March 7, 2026, from 2:00 pm to 3:00 pm at the same location.
A committal service is scheduled for March 7, 2026, from 3:00 pm to 3:30 pm at Meadowlawn Funeral Home and Memorial Gardens with a reception to follow.
