Ligia “Lee” Renedo, age 87 passed away peacefully on April 15th surrounded by her children. Lee was a loving wife, mother, mother-in-law, Godmother, sister, cousin, Tia, Abuela and friend to all that knew her. She was kind, compassionate, generous and always greeted you with a smile. Lee was a coast guard wife who was stationed in Charleston, Puerto Rico and Miami with her final home being a small ranch in Odessa. Lee and her family raised chickens, pigs, cows, and horses; enjoying every minute of the ranch life. She loved gardening, cooking, sewing and of course, she was the best hostess to the many parties she and her husband Al gave. After Lee and Al “retired” some of their ventures included a small restaurant in Odessa and a fish camp in Inglis. They also enjoyed traveling by land and by sea. A highlight in her life was exploring the Florida Coast in their houseboat the Eagles Nest. After the passing of her husband Al, she stayed busy as the seamstress for the Odessa Drill Team, was a partner in the Chief Ink T-Shirt company and also volunteered her time at Citrus Park Elementary school. Lee was predeceased in death by her husband Al. She is survived by her son Al Renedo and his wife Pattie, daughter Cheryl Minardi and her husband Glenn, daughter Sandy Renedo; and God-daughter Renae Artlip; grandchildren GJ, Summer, Paul, Naomi and Reanna; and great-grandchildren Leia, Ellie, Taryn, Kinley, Valerie, Xzavior, Lexi and Trenton.
