Lillian M. Shoemaker 82, of New Port Richey FL and formerly of Tidioute Pa passed away January 21, 2026 after a short battle with pancreatic cancer. Lillian was born on 5/31/1943 in Tidioute to the late George and Helen Nelson. She lived in Tidioute most of her life, moving to FL in 2018. She will be sadly missed by her children, sons Adam(Susan) Shoemaker of New Port Richey FL, Forrest (Shawna) Shoemaker of Hemet CA and daughters Autumn Martin of Coudersport, and Heather(Michael)Henderson of Tidioute, one sister Cheryl Brown of Tidioute, 8 grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren.
Lillian was a lifetime member of Tidioute volunteer Fire Department, and Tidioute VFW Post. She enjoyed traveling, spending time with family, eating out, "Elvis Presley", and crossword puzzles. She was preceded in death by her parents and brother-in-law Richard Brown.
Friends will be received at the Tidioute Presbyterian Church, 196 Main Street on Saturday 2/14/26 from 11am-12pm, with funeral services at 12pm and luncheon to follow. The family will have a private internment at the Swedish Union cemetery.
