LUCY E PINDELL

October 30, 1917January 15, 2013

Lucy E. Pindell, of Hudson, passed away under the care of Gulfside Hospice at the age of 95. Born in Glen Burnie, MD, she moved to the Hudson are in 1987. Lutheran by faith, she was also a proud member of the Women of the Moose. She worked as a hair dresser's assistant in her daughter's salon for many years. Lucy was the type of lady that enjoyed "going", be it camping, traveling, or just relaxing out by the pool. She was the matriarch of her family and will be truly missed.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Allen H. Pindell, Sr., and will be placed with him at Florida National Cemetery. She is survived by her four children, Robert Pindell, Allen Pindell, Jr., Katherine Wharran, and Terry L. Pindell Sr.; her brother Joseph Soaper; 12 grandchildren, and 5 great grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations are made in Lucy's name to Gulfside Hospice or the American Cancer Society.

Lucy was a great lady. She will be missed. She was always kind and generous. She was always fun to be around. My mother, Lucille, and Lucy always had a great time when they were together. She always treated us like family. Love always and forever.
