Margaret Cswercko

Cswercko, Margaret (Pompa) 93, She was the wife of the late Steven Cswercko. Margaret was born on July 8, 1921, in New Hartford,CT, the daughter of the late Michael and Regina (Bucek) Pompa. She was a resident of the Collinsville section of Burlington for many years, before moving to Torrington, CT. She moved to New Port Richey, FL 11 years ago. She is predeceased by siblings John, Joseph, Andrew, Edward and Stephen Pompa and sisters, Genevieve Halstead and Elizabeth Caron.

She is also survived by sisters Kathryn Bird, Anna Grundwalski, and brother Paul Pompa as well as her son and daughter in law, Steven and Janet Cswercko of New Port Richey, FL, a daughter Patricia (Cswercko) and son in law Anthony Merati of Torrington, CT. She also leaves grandchildren John Cswercko, Doreen LaMarre, Christine Cswercko, Alexander Merati and Jeanne Richard as well as great-grandchildren, Riely and Tanner LaMarre, Steven and Hailey Lombardi and Zackary Cswercko as well as several nieces and nephews.

For many years Margaret’s life work, which she enjoyed and took pride in, was caring for children in their homes and she was a proud AVON Lady for many, years. She especially enjoyed spending time at Cape Cod. Throughout her life her favorite pastimes were caring for plants and herbs especially her roses. She loved lighthouses, antiques, taking and showing photos, classical music and reading.

Funeral service here in New Port Richey as well as in CT will be at a future date.
