Maria Jane Thomas

Maria Jane Thomas, age 63, of New Port Richey, Florida passed away on Thursday, October 6, 2022. Maria was from Taylor, Michigan and was born on June 20, 1959. Maria Jane Thomas graduated from John F. Kennedy High and later received her Associate in Arts Degree and Computer-Aided Drafting & Design Degree from Pasco-Hernando State College. Maria had a career in cosmetology for 40 years. She also was a free lance portrait artist, pianist and humanitarian. Maria was a member of St.George Orthodox Church and St. Nicholas Orthodox Church. She had a passion for people, uplifting others with positive words and doing thoughtful deeds for others.

Maria Jane Thomas is survived by her son Austin Hildreth and grandchildren Parker, Della, and Grace Hildreth. Her brother George Thomas and sisters Christine and Denise Thomas. Her parents Helen and Leo Thomas.

A visitation for Maria will be held Tuesday, October 11, 2022 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at Meadowlawn Funeral Home and Memorial Gardens, 4244 Madison Street, New Port Richey, FL 34652. A visitation will occur Wednesday, October 12, 2022 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at St. George Greek Orthodox Church, 9426 Little Rd,, New Port Richey, FL 34654. A funeral service will occur Wednesday, October 12, 2022 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at St. George Greek Orthodox Church, 9426 Little Rd,, New Port Richey, FL 34654. A graveside service will occur Wednesday, October 12, 2022 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM, 4244 Madison Street, New Port Richey, FL 34652.
