I worked with Nick for many years at U.S. Steel.  He was one of a group of us that got to be very close and went on bowling trips together. I'll never forget how funny he was and what a good friend he was. We called him Bugsy.
My heart goes out to Dorothy, especially on this anniversary.

I first met Nick in 1975 as a Junior bowler at Wesley. I was lucky enough to get to know both Nick and Dom as coaches for our Wesleys Jr All-Stars ( actually, the Spear Chevrolet All-Stars since the helped sponsor us), and I remember many weekend trips to a number of different centers to bowl against other junior bowlers. Tons of fond memories growing up! A little later, I  started my 1st job working as a Pin Chaser/Mechanic for Nick at Wesley’s (Years Later I would work for Nick again at Princess Lanes). After Junior bowling, Nick asked me to bowl with he and Dom in Wesley’s Mens Classic League, and I was thrilled to be bowling with my 2 coaches! We had some great times! 
My fondest memory was bowling the City Tournament with Nick and Dom at 51 Lanes back in the early ‘80’s, and I threw my 1st 300 game with them! Tons and tons of great memories. Dot, my heart is with you. Deepest condolences.

Dearest Dorothy: I tried to call Nick before Christmas to see if you two could get together with us for lunch.  I was unable to reach him on the only phone number I had, and did not have a physical address for you.  Today is Dec. 26 and I did a Google search to try to come up with an address or other phone number and was shocked to see his obituary.  My heart goes out to you with this loss....he was such a wonderful man.  I will never forget the days we spent at U. S. Steel and the bowling trips we made together.    My heart is heavy.  Maybe he and Kenny are in Heaven together.  I am sure they are both there.  With tons of love, Arlene Krava Ramos 

Such a sweet and kind man. It is of fond memories of him that I will carry with me. 

I was fortunate to know Nick as my first boss at Wesley’s, to my bowling coach on the Pepsi Allstars to a friend throughout my adult life.

Dorothy, you have my deepest condolences.  Nick will be sorely missed.

Nick was a great role model for me growing up and I am proud to have been one of the many young men Nick took under his wing as a coach and help develop as a bowler.   His passion for the game was sincere and his dedication to the junior program was genuine.   

With the crazy world we live in today, men like Nick will be missed.
