Pam was born on April 3, 1947, in Olathe, Kansas, to C.B. and Bertha Keck. She graduated from Methacton High School before continuing her education at Shippensburg State College and Ursinus College, where she earned her bachelor's degree.
On October 18, 1969, Pam married the love of her life, John "Jack" Hexter. Together they shared more than five decades of love, partnership, and cherished memories.
Pam built a successful career in computer programming, working for several companies, including UNIVAC and American Bankers. She was known for her intelligence, dedication, and strong work ethic throughout her professional life.
Beyond her career, Pam embraced life through her many interests and community involvement. She was an active member of Canine Companions for Independence, the Calusa Cruise Club, and the Fish On Fishing Club of New Port Richey. She had a lifelong love of horses and dogs, and one of her greatest joys was raising puppies for Canine Companions for Independence, helping prepare future service dogs that would change the lives of others. Her compassion for animals and willingness to serve reflected her generous heart.
Pam will be remembered for her kindness, quiet strength, love of family, and unwavering devotion to those she cared about. She found happiness in spending time with loved ones, enjoying the outdoors, and sharing her passions with friends and family.
She is survived by her devoted husband, John "Jack" Hexter; her daughter, Heather Fox; her son, Corey Hexter; and her beloved grandchildren, Hailey Fox and Lily Hexter.
Pam's memory will live on in the hearts of all who knew and loved her. She will be deeply missed and forever remembered.
