She was married to Francis Robert Carroll in 1950, who predeceased her in 1987.
She worked at the NY Telephone Company in Freeport NY until her first of six children were born. She returned to work in the 1980s as a medical transcriptionist.
She had a passion for many hobbies including bridge and Mac jog games, casino gambling, and attending art shows, theatre, and movies. She was also an avid reader and loved puzzles.
She is survived by 6 children - Michael, Nancy, Susan, Jane, Timothy and Daniel. 16 grandchildren ranging from 52 to 18 years old; and 31 great-grandchildren ranging from 22 to 10 months old.
A private funeral service will be held Monday, January 16th followed by burial next to her husband Francis at Meadowlawn Cemetery in New Port Richey FL.
