Peter J Herman

Peter J. Herman of Port Richey, FL passed away in his home on Friday, January 11, 2014 at the age of 93. Peter, known as "Happy Birthday Pete" to his friends was born in Neugaunee, MI to the late John and Mary (Licquia) Herman. He moved to the Westchester area of New York where he met his loving wife, Dilia, through church. They married in 1995 and relocated to Florida together. In Florida they became devoted members of Covenant Christian Church in New Port Richey where Peter enjoyed entertaining with a puppetry ministry. Peter was known as a storyteller amongst his friends, always ready with a story or joke for everything. Peter was a hard worker, owning several different successful businesses over the course of his life.

In addition to his wife, Peter is lovingly remembered by his son, Michael Herman; his daughters, Annette Cestone and Donna Herman; 2 brothers, Larry and Fred Herman; several grandchildren and many dear friends.

A service will be held in Peter's honor on Thursday, January 16, 2014 at Florida National Cemetery at 11:00am.

A memorial service will be hosted by Covenant Christian Church on Saturday, January 18, 2014 at 3:00pm.
