OBITUARY

Randall H. Martens

September 30, 1942May 11, 2020

Randall H. Martens, loving husband, father and grandfather passed away on Monday, May 11, 2020. Randy died peacefully at home with his wife of 53 years, Sharon, by his side. He is also survived by two children, Jeffrey and Jennifer, and four grandchildren, Joshua, Jillian, Zachary and Nicholas.

Randy was born on September 30, 1942 in Charlotte, North Carolina. He moved to Detroit, Michigan where he ultimately met his wife Sharon. As a newly wed, Randy worked and attended Eastern Michigan University. After graduating, Randy became a longtime employee of Ford Motor Company in Detroit before moving with his family to Bayonet Point, FL. He had a 23-year career with Verizon/GTE before retiring. He was a dedicated, loyal and hard-working man. Randy loved the outdoors, sports and spending time with family. He always put his family first.

We have all been so blessed to have this wonderful man as a husband, father and grandfather. He gave us a lifetime of good memories and taught us what life is about...family and being there for one another.
