Richard D Lash

Richard D. Lash, a hard-working and faithful individual, passed away on February 4, 2026, at the age of 96. Born on June 24, 1929, in Bluffton, Indiana, Richard lived a life marked by dedication and service.

Richard was a proud Korean War Marine Veteran. After his military service, he enjoyed a long and fulfilling career, retiring from United Airlines after 29 years. His commitment and work ethic were admired by all who knew him.

A devoted member of the Bible Baptist Church of New Port Richey, Richard's faith was an integral part of his life. He is survived by his children, Roger (Anna Marie) Lash of Brownsburg, Indiana, Larry (Mary Jo) Lash of Fresno, California, and Barbara Gavin of Holiday, Florida. He also leaves behind 11 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren, who will remember him fondly.

The visitation will be held on February 10, 2026, from 11:00 am to 1:00 pm at Meadowlawn Funeral Home and Memorial Gardens, located at 4244 Madison Street, New Port Richey, FL 34652. The funeral service will follow from 1:00 pm to 2:00 pm, and the committal service will take place from 2:00 pm to 2:30 pm at the same location.

Richard's life and legacy will be cherished by all who had the privilege of knowing him.
