Richard Tyler

Loving husband, father, brother, and uncle, Richard is missed by daughter and son-in law, Shari and Tim Peters; Granddaughter, Crystal Thorn; Mother-in-law Eleanor McKnee (100); Sister-In-Law Gloria Tyler, Rose Risdon, Deanna Minnock and Nancy Litwa; Brother-in-law George and Larry McKnee.

Richard was born in Detroit, Michigan to Anthony and Irene Tybulczyk on June 27, 1930. He married Ellen McKnee on September 8, 1951. Richard graduated from Walsh College, with a degree in Accounting and Business Administration. His military time was spent in the Army, where he served in the Korean war. Richard worked and retired from the City of Clearwater in Florida.

A proud member of Sassy Sam’s Travel Club, Richard enjoyed traveling and seeking out new adventures with his wife Ellen. He will be remembered for his fun-loving nature and quick wit. Thanks to his many thoughtful friends and loving family who have offered their help and shared their love.

A memorial service will be held on Saturday, January 14, 2017 at 3pm, Meadowlawn Funeral Home in New Port Richey, with a reception to follow at Snappers Bar and Grill in Palm Harbor, FL.
