He is preceded in death by his first grandson, Trevor Patterson. He is also survived by his brother in spirit Jim Phillips, and wife Lonnie Phillips; and countless friends who he considered family.
His spirit will live on in the hearts of those who loved him. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that you celebrate his life with a donation to the Vietnam Dog Handlers Association (https://www.vdha.us/content23783.html) or get out on the water and drop a line in his memory.
