We loved (Great) Aunt Shirley!  Her energy, spirit, kindness and generosity were boundless.  She loved her family and extended family and we were blessed to have shared as much time with her as we did.  Although, we are sad that we had not seen her in a few years we did keep in touch and I always loved chatting with her either live or via messenger.  
Love ya Aunt Shirley.  Till we meet again.

Dear Reg, Shelley, Sherrylyn and all the Family.
We are deeply saddened to hear of the passing of your Mom.  'Aunt Shirley' was ever an encouragement to us here in Zimbabwe for many many years. She always kept in touch with email messages of love and prayers for our ministry. Occasionally, we would see her in the summer in Ontario, usually at Uncle Cal's cottage. We miss her.  We are blessed to have had her in our lives, even from afar.
May our gracious Lord comfort you and the family at this time of separation and sorrow.  In Zimbabwean culture, we do not say 'Goodbye', rather the expression, 'We will see you again.'

She was one special lady.  Always had a smile and brightened many lives.  She will be missed.  God bless. 

Shirley was the most positive lady I have ever met.We spent many wonderful hours together and all our chats told me how much her family meant to her..I have no doubt that she is in her heavenly home today and making sure everything is in good order. we will miss her dearly but we know she will be there to greet us with open arms ..

From the day I met Shirley she  told me her door was always open and to just drop in for coffee anytime.  I would call before I came at the beginning until Shirley insisted I should just drop in. It was years since anyone ever opened their home like that, she was one special lady. I would spend hours with her and could go back the next day. I loved her stories of New Jersey and the years she was raising her family. Shirley loved the NY Mets and I enjoyed sharing that with her. Whenever I went over she tried sending me home with food,  one thing was for sure, Shirley always had plenty of food in case someone stopped by! I have so many wonderful memories, I couldn't list them all!!
 I am blessed to have had Shirley in my life, I will miss her so much. Rest in Peace my Dear Friend 🙏🏻

What a privilege to have had an amazing woman to be my Aunt Shirley. There was no one like Aunt Shirley. I remember when we were kids we could hardly wait for her visits. We knew there was going to be lots of laughs and good times.

She had such a positive and encouraging influence on my life as a young girl and even after I got married my husband finally found someone who would laugh at all his jokes.  Even my girls were so privileged to know this kind and gracious lady.  She sat through not just 1 but 2 graduations on one of the hottest days in Ontario.

Sending my love out to my dear and precious cousins and praying that the legacy of love your mother left you will be a source of strength and comfort for you now.
