

Thomas "Tom" Eannel, 83, of Trinity, Florida, passed away suddenly on June 6, 2026. Born on April 17, 1943, in Brooklyn, New York, Tom lived a life marked by dedication to his family, career, and country.
Tom grew up on Long Island and graduated from Bethpage High School before earning an Associate's Degree from Nassau Community College. In 1962, he proudly enlisted in the United States Air Force, serving until 1966. During his time in the military, Tom was stationed at McConnell Air Force Base in Wichita, Kansas. He achieved the rank of staff sergeant and worked as a sound man on a camera crew that traveled throughout the United States.
In 1970, Tom embarked on a remarkable career with Estee Lauder, Inc., where he held various supervisory roles in quality control and manufacturing. Over the course of twenty-six years with the company, his hard work and leadership earned him the position of Senior Vice President. His contributions to the company were significant and reflected his commitment to excellence.
Tom’s personal life was equally fulfilling. He is survived by his devoted wife, Lois; his daughter, Christine; his granddaughter, Katelyn; and his brother, John. He was predeceased by his parents, Joseph and Charlotte Eannel; as well as his older brother, Joseph.
Throughout his life, Tom found joy in many pursuits. An avid golfer for much of his life, he cherished time spent on the golf course until health challenges made it difficult for him to continue playing. In recent years, he enjoyed reading and playing computer games but most treasured moments spent with his family.
Those who knew Tom remember him for his kindness, generosity, sense of humor, and unwavering integrity. His presence brought warmth and laughter to those around him—a legacy that will be cherished by all who had the privilege of knowing him.
