Thomas John Maimonis

Born on March 4, 1954, in Chicago, Illinois, Tom was the beloved son of John and Jean Maimonis. He graduated from Glenbard East High School and went on to marry the love of his life, Eva Crundwell, on February 2, 1975. Together they built a life centered on family, love, and lasting memories.

Tom dedicated his career to FedEx, where he was known for his strong work ethic and commitment. Outside of work, he found his greatest joy on the golf course, out fishing, and most of all, spending time with his grandchildren. His family was the center of his world, and he treasured every moment shared with them.

Tom is survived by his loving children, Jean (Mike) Maimonis, Tom (Jess) Maimonis, and Jenni (Pete) Tortorice; his cherished grandchildren, Galena (13), Charlotte (10), Tripp (9), Piper (7), Lilly (7), Jameson (5), and his faithful companion, Daisy Dog. He is also survived by his brother, Dennis Maimonis.

He was preceded in death by his parents, John and Jean Maimonis, his wife Eva Maimonis and his sister, Carne'.

Tom will be remembered for his love of family, his generous spirit, and the many happy memories he created with those who knew him. He will be deeply missed and forever remembered by all who loved him.
