Tom graduated from St. Aloysius High School in 1954. From there he attended Lincoln Tech Vocational School in Union New Jersey to study refrigeration and air conditioning.
After completing school he served in the United States Coast Guard from 1957 to 1959 and from there he went to work for the City Service in New York City, Pepsi, and then Tempco. During this time he spent weekends with his family at there summer home on the Jersey Shore.
He moved to Staten Island and lived with his family from 1963 to 1973 before moving to Port Richey Florida.
Tom worked for Mcmullen Refrigeration and air conditioning before going to work for the Pasco County School system and retiring.
When he retired he moved to Tarpon Springs were enjoyed fishing and walking on the beach.
He is survived by his daughter Kathy, sons Thomas, Joseph and Robert, sister
Bernadette, seven grandchildren and two great grandchildren. Pre deceased by parents John J. senior and Edna McGuire, brother John J. jr (Jack), sister Patricia and beloved Uncle Francis Meehan.
