

It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Vickie Lou Wilson a remarkable woman who touched the lives of many with her strength, kindness, and diverse talents. Vickie passed away on January 30, 2025 at the age of 70, leaving behind a legacy of service, creativity, and unwavering determination.
Born on April 19, 1954 in Salem, Ohio to the late Vernon and Betty Hoover, Vickie spent her early years discovering her passions and finding new ways to express herself. She served her country with pride in the United States Army, where her discipline and resilience laid the foundation for the many careers that would follow. Her service was a testament to her commitment to others and her belief in making a difference in the world.
After leaving the military, Vickie embraced a career as a talented hairdresser, where she made lifelong friendships with clients and colleagues alike. Her artistic eye and steady hands created not only beautiful hairstyles but also lasting memories. Her work was a reflection of her spirit—warm, welcoming, and always striving for excellence.
As a realtor and business owner, Vickie built a reputation for her sharp business acumen and her ability to connect with people from all walks of life. Her entrepreneurial spirit inspired those around her, and her dedication to providing exceptional service earned her the respect and admiration of clients and peers.
A talented leatherworker, Vickie spent countless hours crafting intricate pieces that reflected her creativity and attention to detail. Her craftsmanship was admired by all who had the privilege of owning one of her creations. Whether through her leatherwork, her real estate expertise, or her time as a hairdresser, she poured her heart into every endeavor.
As the widow of Billy Wilson, Vickie demonstrated incredible strength and resilience. Her ability to navigate life's challenges with grace and optimism was a true inspiration to all who knew her. She was a loyal friend, always offering a listening ear and a helping hand. Her warmth, wit, and wisdom will be missed by all who had the honor of calling her friend.
Vickie leaves behind her sister, Judith (Dennis) Sedivy and many extended family, all of whom will forever cherish the memories of her generosity, humor, and love. While she may no longer be with us in body, her spirit and influence will continue to resonate in the lives she touched.
