WALTER S. PARKER, Jr., of New Port Richey, died, November 19, 2010. He was born in Keene, NH Feb. 14, 1931 and was the son of Walter and Eunice Parker. Mr. Parker served with the US Navy for 4 years and was aboard aircraft carriers with the 6th Fleet. He retired from Public Service Co. of New Hampshire in 1972
Walter enjoyed golfing and was a member of the Portsmouth Country Club until he had a spinal cord injury. Up until the last three years he and his wife Sally enjoyed spending summers at their camp at Mousam Lake in Acton, Maine.
Survivors include his wife of 59 years, Sally, son; Timothy and wife Denise of Hudson, FL, two granddaughters; Meggan Newman of Greer, SC and Heidi Dinnogen of Goleta, CA., 2 great grandchildren; Ella and Julian Newman, Brother; Richard (Laurie) Parker, sister; Eunice Nelson, also brother-in-law; Karl Robinson of Marlborough, NH., and numerous nieces and nephews.
At the families request, services will be private. Arrangements under the direction of North/Meadowlawn Funeral Home & Cemetery, New Port Richey, FL.
