Wilfred Olivera

Wilfred Olivera, of Land O’ Lakes, Florida, passed away peacefully on June 18, 2026, at the age of 87.

Born on February 16, 1939, in Bayamón, Puerto Rico, Wilfred lived a life marked by dedication, generosity, and an unwavering love for his family and friends. On June 18, 1960, he married the love of his life, Ramona Davila. Together, they built a strong and loving family, sharing a marriage filled with devotion, laughter, and cherished memories.

Wilfred proudly retired from IBEW Local 3 after 40 years of dedicated service. He was known for his strong work ethic, integrity, and commitment to excellence throughout his career.

Outside of work, Wilfred embraced life with enthusiasm and joy. He was passionate about sports and enjoyed spending time playing dominoes, competing in senior softball leagues, and gathering with loved ones. He especially treasured hosting family and friends, creating lasting memories through his hospitality, warmth, and vibrant personality. His home was always a place where everyone felt welcome.

Wilfred is survived by his daughter, Evelyn Olivera-Silva, and her daughters, Samantha and Alexa; his son, Wilfred Olivera, Jr., his wife, Ivelise, and their daughters, Desiree, Elissa, and Jasmine; and his three beloved great-grandchildren. He is also survived by his youngest sister, Avilda Amarales, as well as many cherished family members and dear friends whose lives were enriched by his kindness, wisdom, and friendship.

Wilfred will be remembered for his loving heart, his devotion to family, his sense of humor, and his ability to bring people together. His legacy lives on through the family he loved so deeply and the many lives he touched throughout his journey.

Though he will be greatly missed, the memories he created and the love he shared will remain forever in the hearts of all who knew him.
