

Fabiane Wolff Gershon, of Fort Lee, New Jersey, died on September 14th, 2026, at the age of 85. She leaves behind her life partner, Steve Leffler, and her sister, Karen Wiktorowicz. She was predeceased by her sister, Glenda Wolff, and her daughter, Amanda Gershon.
Born on May 18th, 1941, in Durham, North Carolina, to Nathan and Clara Wolff, Fabiane built a long and distinguished career in finance. Her final role was as Founder and Executive Director of the Thypin Oltchick Women’s Entrepreneurship Institute, where she championed women building businesses of their own.
A passionate philanthropist, Fabiane was involved with the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation, UJA-Federation, and organizations supporting women’s entrepreneurship.
She will be remembered for her generosity, her devotion to the causes she championed, and the many lives she helped change.
A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, September 23rd at 10:00 AM at Frank E. Campbell – The Funeral Chapel, 1076 Madison Avenue, New York. Shiva will be observed on Wednesday and Thursday from 3:00 to 8:00 PM at Steve Leffler's home, 1512 Palisades Avenue, Apartment 14B, Fort Lee, New Jersey.
