Alanda Hendricks passed away in her home on November 8, 2021 in Evansville, Indiana. She was born on July 17, 1947 at the Protestant Deaconess Hospital to the late Allen Paul Schneider and Maxine Rose (Egli).
Alanda graduated from Evansville Central High School in 1965, where she was a Majorette. She also skated in the local production of the Ice Capades. Alanda trained to be a nurse, and worked at Central State Hospital in Indianapolis before changing careers and working at Indiana Bell. When Alanda retired from Indiana Bell, she returned to nursing, working for the Marion County Sheriff’s Office (IN).
Alanda is survived by her son, Nick Serban; grandson, Ian Serban; brother, Mark Fields
(wife, Dawn), nephew, Emory Fields; cousin Jamie Winstead, and Jamie’s daughters
Stephanie (husband, Lee), Kristina (husband Robert), and Kelli Jo, and their children.
A Memorial Service will be held at 10:00 a.m. Monday, November 15, 2021, at Alexander Newburgh Chapel, 5333 State Road 261, Newburgh, Indiana. The Memorial Service will be livestreamed beginning at 9:50 a.m. at www.facebook.com/FuneralStreamUSA.
