He proudly served his country in the Air Force. He attended Evansville College and Indiana State University, receiving a BS in Business and MBA degrees. He retired from Whirlpool after 30 years. He never met a stranger and was well known for his great stories of memories past.
Albert is survived by his wife of 51 years, Judy; son, Rob Duncan (Lori); daughters, Heather Hewitt (Mike), and Amy Duncan, all of Indianapolis, and Sandy Barnard (Jason) of Evansville. He was also the proud Grandpa of four; Natalie Duncan, Alex Duncan, Duncan Hewitt, and Presley Hewitt.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to The American Lung Association or The American Heart Association.
A memorial service will be 3:30 PM, Friday, February 3, 2012, at Alexander Newburgh Chapel, officiated by Father Ted Tempel. Friends may visit Friday, 12 PM until service time at the funeral home.
