Obituary of Ann Elizabeth Nalin
Ann Elizabeth Nalin, 73, of Evansville, IN passed away Wednesday, June 12, 2019 at Deaconess Gateway Hospital in Newburgh. She was born in Evansville on September 28, 1945, to the late Raymond C. and Loretta Hillenbrand. She graduated from Rex Mundi High School in 1963 and from Welborn School of X-Ray in 1965. She was a member of St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church in Daylight, IN. Ann was an active member of the Newburgh McDonald’s coffee group for 30 years. She was a devoted wife, mother and grandmother. Ann is survived by her husband of 10 years, Dan Nalin; sons, Michael Rea (Sheila), David Rea (Melissa); step-daughter, Laura Nalin; grandchildren, Brad Rea (Cassidy), Matt Rea (Jordan), Kyle Rea, Jessica Rea (Connor), Jacob Rea, Erica Rea; great-grandson, Ryland Rea; sister, Sue Gries (Gene); niece, Julie King (Tony); nephews, Jim and Jeff Gries (Wendy); cousins; and many close friends. The family would like to thank the nurses and staff at Deaconess Gateway Hospital for their care and compassion. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held 1:30 p.m. Tuesday, June 18, 2019 at St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church – Daylight, IN officiated by Rev. Christopher Forler with burial in St. Joseph Catholic Cemetery. Friends may visit 4-7 p.m. on Monday at Alexander Newburgh Chapel. Memorial contributions may be made to St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church – Daylight, IN.
